Guest guest
Carol, Are you defining missed as no-show? If so, we run at about 6%. If we include cancellations, it is much higher. Outpatient Peds Program Missed Treatment Rates Just curious as to any benchmark information regarding average % rates for missed treatments for Outpatient Peds programs. Rumor has it that the National Average is around 5%. Anyone feel this is not an accurate statement? We are looking for some comparative data from other facilities. Guest guest
We have around a 5% no show rate but our missed treatment rate is closer to 20% for pediatrics. I would be highly skeptical of a report saying the overall missed treatment rate for pediatrics nationwide is only 5%. Guest guest
Carol: I would find a 5% rate exceptional. We work with many pediatric practices in our consulting services and find that the range is from 15% to about 35% with the average closer to 20%. We, too, have attempted to find industry benchmarks specific to pediatrics without success. Due to the nature of pediatric practice, I think a range in the 20's is likely to be more real. Years ago we had a surgeon with the same diagnosis and by using this stool with a long saddle, he was able to return to work before he was able to fully WB through his ankle. Unfortunately I haven't been able to locate one. Any ideas? Weblinks?
