I don't have any experience with the insurance company you mentioned. I did,

however, want to reply and tell you that your dad moving to assisted living has

happened for a reason. A bigger picture than you are aware of.

Sandie: Thanks for the response. We started moving him in today and

I am so down tonight. I hate that we are so worn out taking care of

him that we have to turn him over to someone else. I hate this

disease. We lost mom to ovarian cancer 5 years ago and now this.

Thank goodness my dad is so agreeable, not necessarily the norm with

this disease. Reading all the posts, I know we are all in the same

boat. You hear " your " story over and over. There is comfort in

knowing others are experiencing the same thing.

Hi -

Um, just wanted to tell you that reading your post of moving your dad into

assisted living took me to the days of moving my dad's things into the nursing

home. You will make it through this. I can't explain why or how, you just

will. Let me be the footsteps in your path - I have lead the way for you.
