I have worked in a NH for the past 20 years. Not only in a NH but in

general life--I think it is amazing how the older generation learns to

cope with whatever happens in life. I also feel that with LB it is

hard to tell where one is, but they do deserve the dignity of being

treated as if normal---they have the most amazing ability to be here;

or not to be here on any given day. Up until the end I and others too

could always tell when Mom was, so to speek, playing possum-didn't

want to talk who knows why--however, we all know they are more aware

of what is happening than we wanted them to know. It is indeed a very

sad disease. Joanne in Oregon
