Guest guest Posted April 2, 2004 Report Share Posted April 2, 2004 Glad to hear that your Dad made it through surgery although I know it is hard seeing him hallucinate so badly. I went through that with my mother the last time she was in the hospital...none of the nurses knew how to handle her at all! It is so sad. They finally put a " cage " over her bed. It is netting on all sides and top and zips on the outside so she couldn't get out of bed. That really set her off! That was 2 years ago and they told me that it was the change of environment that caused it. If I only knew then what I know now about LBD! I wouldn't worry about your sister. Someday she will see the reality of the LBD...hopefully soon. In the meantime, do what you can to get better yourself. Thanks for sharing...
