So glad you shared this. My mom has always had a great sense of humor

and sometimes it's all that shines through. This sounded like banter

between us. When not much seems humorous she'll say something that

sets us both off laughing - moments to cherish. Deb

Hi, Coyote,

I laughed my rear off when I read your post about your dad! He is so funny!

I am so glad y'all had a good day. It is one to cherish. Maybe your dad has

the seasonal thing like my dad does. Things seem to get better as the

weather improves. I know someday that will stop, but I am sure going to enjoy

it

while it still happens. Here's to as many good days as we can get!

Big hugs,

Piper

Oh Coyote, I am so happy for you that you had a wonderful afternoon with

your parents. My mom hardly ever laughs. We must cherish these moments and

file them away for the times when things aren't so good. The trouble is

that when we have a good time, when we let our guard down, we we start to

think everything will be okay for awhile, the bastard beast brings us back

to reality. Don't let it win, by focusing on the one moment your dad forgot

the house. Instead continue to do what you did today, laugh and enjoy the

times that are good and let the " bad " moments drain away like " sh-t through

a goose's ass " .

Treasure the moments. Soon it will be one of the things that make the end

bearable.
