Guest guest
Have you had your adrenals checked? What starting dose did you take? Palps by them self can be hypo..but that resting heart rate is normally leaning toward hyper. Have you had a thyroid ultrasound done? Have your female hormones been tested? In order to get a full picture. You might post each set of labs with ranges and any medication you were on at the time. Are you on any other medications or suppliments? What was your ferritin test? As for BCP, they are not good for you. They inhibit they thyroid function. Kate G At 11:50 AM 12/11/2007, you wrote: >I am one who doesn't tolerate thyroid meds-any kind. Guest guest
The hormones all work together. Balancing the thyroid, S*E*X* and adrenal hormones is part of really good thyroid treatment, especially if you have auto-immune issues or difficulty tolerating a suitable dose of thyroid. That is why I went to Dr. . I wanted bio-identical hormones and I wanted a doc who really knew what he was doing. I was already on Armour. earth_friendly_farms wrote: , I appreciate your response, but I guess I should have said that I'm looking more for a menopause clinic! I'm not yet AT meno, but at 47, I'm almost there! That's why I think I need my hormones fine-tuned, like maybe I'm deficient in one or the other, or both, and possibly that will make me feel "smoother". I have read up on some of those meno. clinics, but most of them are VERY expensive. Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now. Guest guest
I was PREmenopausal from the age of about 30 but just didn't know it until all the info was put together on me. They are finding that it starts a WHOLE lot sooner than originally perceived. Re: ok, I think my female hormones are worse off than my thyroid problems!!
