Guest guest Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 I am very distressed! As you know, Dr. Ozan closed his practice. I saw him last week. He changed my prescription to 2.5 gr per day. I called Oak Dell Pharmacy on that day and asked them to call Dr. Ozan for the new script, per Dr. O's instructions. Today I called for a refill. A) They did not " get " my voice message hence they did not get a new prescription. I still have 4 refills left but They say the medication (Armour) has been unavailable from the manufacturer for a week! I have enough meds to last until Sunday. I have called Costco and left a message to transfer the prescription. I am really panicking here! Does anyone know where I can find Armour in San It's Friday ........ Steph Quote

Guest guest Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 Steph, I haven't had any trouble at all filling my Armour prescription at Costco. I use the one on UTSA Blvd. That's the only pharmacy I've used, so I have no other suggestions. Hope it works out for you. > > I am very distressed! As you know, Dr. Ozan closed his practice. Guest guest Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 You can also try Olmos Pharmacy on McCullough and Hildebrand. I've gotten Armour there before, but I'm not sure if it was completely potent. So, in a pinch, you could get a partial refill until you sort out what to do. The H-E-B on Fred. Rd. and Hildebrand carries some Armour, but they may try to switch you to the generic if it isn't specified on your 'scrip. You could also call the H-E-B on Broadway, which is where I get my clonazepam. I like them a lot. There's also a new independent pharmacy called Broadway pharmacy who would love to provide services for the thyroid people. Also, you can call Women's International Pharmacy. They will do an overnight FedEx if you call before 3 p.m. Courtenay. --- Betsy wrote: > Steph, I haven't had any trouble at all filling my > Armour prescription at > Costco.
