Guest guest Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 Hello Everyone, Since my doctor retired in June, I have been self medicating (Jan, don't read that part!). Anyway, I've been getting some great help on the Thyroid Madness site, the yahoo! hypopit site, and the yahoo! natural thyroid site. Currently I've worked my way SLOWLY to 2.5 grains of armour and 30mg of cortef. I know many on here take less cortef than this, but believe me my body need ALL of it! I've also heard MANY others that require the full 30mg in order to increase their armour dosage. My question, for those that have been to or currently see Dr. Manzanero, is what should I expect? I want to tell him I've been self treating with the hc, but will he accept that? Does he treat adrenals? Guess I should have looked into that before scheduling an appointment.
