Guest guest
And Sharon, it helped us both so much I know, when you and the doctor were both up front with us. Of course when you practically feel dead, 2-4 years really doesn't seem that bad. And it's good to know what to expect, and to have an awesome example such as yourself as to what life can really be like when fully and adequately treated for Hashi's! Thank you so much for your continued support! I've got to call soon and talk about my new insurance. Hope to get down there in another month or two! > > /Sara > Remember when I first met you all and you asked, " How long was it before you felt better? " I > replied with three statements: > 1. But I thought, " what choice do I have? " I already know the synthetic doesn't work, I'm getting really scared, and my pcp said she didn't know what else to do - and she's highly respected. That shook me up. When I told her I was committed to two years to see if this worked, she dropped her jaw and asked me if I really thought I could do it. I told her I was going to comply, come hell or high water! She said, ok, keep her posted. She has seen the results, and that's the best way to gain a convert. I still need to get those tapes to her. > > We have folks call the office and report that they are not better in a month or a week. How > many would call back if I said let's talk better in 2 to 4 years! We all want things so fast nowadays. And the medical community keeps throwing things at the symptoms, rather than having to deal with the root causes, which take longer to fix. >it is very wonderful to see you talk about how much better you are. Well, all the talk on this board got me to sit up (barely!) and take notice of what alternatives were out there, and that there were folks out there like me getting well. I was really scared and felt hopeless. I truly believe this board, and you guys, saved my life. Sara
