Guest guest
Just to chime in here...our oldest does not have PMG, we adopted our middle child (and was told that we were taking a huge risk as " you don't know what type of health problems you might be facing with international adoption " )--and she is the healthiest of all 3 children, then our youngest was born and he has PMG. SO....guess we definitely learned that there aren't any guarantees. But, if this listserve is representative of your chances of having a second child with PMG, clearly the odds are not showing that to be very likely. However, if you absolutely could not live with another child who was born with a disability (knowing that a disability could always be aquired at any stage of life), perhaps you might consider going the route of adoption to add to your family. Just a thought. I know that these decisions are never easy, and you are definitely smart to think things through. Our thoughts will be with you.....
