Guest guest Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 > > Pat, > I know exactly what you mean about the Ambien! How long have you been taking it? I was that way with it a while back. I'd get up and cook and not know it. I would talk on the phone to people and never remember it. I guess I said some things that probably shouldn't have been said to my ex b/f on the phone and everything else. It was my " honest " pill. Whatever I thought or felt right then, I said. I don't remember any of it. I guess I just got really evil when I took it. Anyhow, I just wanted you to know that it's not only you! I still take it but no longer have problems like that. Anyways, if you have any other questions or anything feel free to contact me. > > Love ya, > Dani > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dani, I have been taking it for over a year now,it puts me in a sleep where I have no dreams, bad ones any ways...I just don't like not being in control of my self...the first time my grandaughter came into my room and ask me to put eyedrops in her eyes...I told her I couldn't get up,but showed her how to do it herself as I did it on myself... I don't remember it at all....I just don't want to do something that would harm my grandkidsI am depressed as it is,,,God knows I don't need to be more depressed..lol I laughed the first time I heard this could happen taking it,,,one of Ruthies friends had taken some and for some unknow reason got in her car,,ended up wrecking it and walking for miles,,,when they finally found her she couldn't tell them why she was in the car...I know for a fact that it does happen now... Thanks for letting me know I am not the only one that has gone thru someting with Ambien...I am going to get off of it... God bless, Quote
Guest guest Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 Whups! I was thinking she meant it would make her SLEEP, not dead! But, I meant to respond to this also, but computer funnies prevented me and I thank you, , for bringing it up. Alcohol is prohibited for newly post-op patients due to the impact on the liver. One person, I can't remember who, a female, she went on a binge and became seriously ill to the point it threatened her life. Marta > > Dani, > > I just wanted to remind you that alcohol is a depressant and if you're feeling like getting drunk and hoping it will do more than get you drunk which I am guessing you meant dead then getting drunk is only going to make you more suicidal.
