Guest guest Posted January 13, 2004 Report Share Posted January 13, 2004 Josie: My husband and I have begged my mother to come live with us. We have a big enough house and we're rarely home. What's more she'd be a tremendous help with the kids. I go by the nh when I come home from school so I could pick her up. It would all be perfect.. Yet, my mom is determined not to come between my husband and I. She said she had her mil living with her and it caused a ruckus in my family. My sister cannot live with my mom. My mom is rather high strung and my sister has absolutely no patience when it comes to my mom. What's more, my sister lives farther south and is rarely home. It makes sense for my mom to move in with me or get an apartment or condo close by where we could check on her. Convincing her is another problem.
