Guest guest
This didn't post as well as planned, I will work on correcting it and will post it again soon! Thanks and sorry. winnchimes Re// Confused about Chelation issue Just to add a little on the chelation topic. We chelated our son using 25 mg. of DMSA and 25 mg. of ALA every 3 hours, round the clock for 3 days on and 4 days off. (with supplements and probiotics ) Starting on the morning of the first off day we collected 24 hours worth of urine. (long day!) At the end of that period we take the urine jug, shake it, and take a sample and send it to be tested. (Doctor's Data kit.) The results of that test are below dated 4-3-2003. The doctor then advised us to give a higher dosage of DMSA and prescribed transdermal TTFD (vitamin B1) and transdermal GSH (amino acid glutathione) creams, and daily vitamin b12 injections. We decided to go against Dr's orders, and give the same dosage of 25 mg. for DMSA and ALA, same as before. But we did add the injections and the creams. We did the same urine toxic elements test and the results are below: 24 Hour Urine Toxic Metals Tests Doctor's Data Inc.(lab) 4-3-2003 results 9-11-2003 results Metal ug/g creat ug/g creat Keep in mind that this is NOT a measurement Aluminum <dl 24 of what is inside of 's body, but a Antimony <dl 0.3 measurement of the toxic metals that were found Arsenic 21 25 in the small urine sample that was sent to the lab. Beryllium <dl <dl Bismuth <dl <dl Note: At the bottom of these tests is the statement, Cadmium <dl 1.2 " No safe reference levels for toxic metals have been Lead <dl 7.6 established. " So, none of these should really be there. Mercury <dl 1.6 Nickel <dl 6.9 We have known that high levels of toxins Platinum <dl <dl were in his body. Very glad to see them finally Thallium 0.5 0.9 coming out. Thorium 0.3 <dl Tin 6.2 1.5 Tungsten 0.9 0.5 Uranium <dl <dl You can see that by adding the creams and the shots, a lot more metals came out. I only wish that we had done a fecal metals test as well. I have heard that stool is a big way for metals to leave the body and it would be nice to know if significant levels were coming out that way in addition to the amounts coming out in urine.. We test for yeast and bacteria through Great Plains Lab stool testing. Candida, Clostridia, you name it, and they have found it in my son's stool. Some choose to try and get rid of those gut problems before chelating. Some say, there will always be yeast and bacteria as long as the metals are in...get them out first. I even know one doc who says, buy lots of probiotic, give them 10 times the normal amount spread throughout the day and keep chelating. Sort of " Hold the fort " til the enemy is gone, then we can clean. A few months ago, we ran IgG for measles and german measles. Surprise. My son tested very high for measles. So let's see, yeast, bacteria, toxic metals, and now viruses. It's like trying to break a code, and every kid has a different code. On one kid the code is fight virus first then metals then yeast then bacteria. For the next kid it's metals first then yeast, bacteria then viruses. Not to mention allergies, diet, etc... Right now we just finished mega A for measles and once we have indication that it worked (retest IgG) we will probably go back to chelation. I know that in our case, Regression isn't a huge concern. I don't judge success of treatment by behaviour, I look at the test results. If we need to take two steps back to go three forward, so be it. There are lots of ways people have successfully and safely chelated. Using, DMPS, DMSA, DMSO, MT promoter, EDTA, MSM, herbs, juice fasting, saunas and sweating, cilantro,....methods including, oral, transdermal, IV infusions, and I have read stories about people of all ages being helped trmendously by chelation, the latest being alzheimer's patients. They seem to have a lot of mercury and aluminum. Hope this can help someone. Winnchimes
Guest guest
As my next door neighbor, the chemist, says " chelation is like taking the brain out of the skull shaking it up and down in a kitchen sink full of hot soapy water and putting it back in. " She was incredulous that parents chelate their children for autism. Kathy -NNY
