Guest guest
My mothers TIA's are coming more often and stronger. She had 2 strokes in one week. Her body is not absorbing nutrients. Guest guest
TIA is Transient Ischemic Attack also know as mini strokes. But with TIA's the symptoms go away in 24 hours or less. With a true stroke the symptoms do not go away. Guest guest
: I agree that reality will hit you once you see her at the funeral home (which you probably already have done at this time). I'm hoping that reality doesn't hit you too hard. Once again, my condolenses.. Abby
Guest guest
Dear Abby: I have skipped to the top and found your posts. What you describe sounds like he is at the beggining of the last stage. They decrease the amount of food gradually. I am very sorry your dad is getting to that point. I am thinking and praying for you and your family, and especially for your mom and dad. Hugs and love, Josie
Guest guest
: I believe you are right about my dad being close to the end. Seeing him suffer in the way I have now for almost 2 years, I hope you are right. It upsets all that I think of as justice that he and all of our loved ones have to be tortured in this way and they are left without their minds intact. Thanks for speaking to me of your mother's experience. So good to know you're willing to share her story with us so that we can learn from you. I hope to do the same myself when the time comes.
