Guest guest
Hi ! Yes, I mean exactly *that* London, in England. Your booking flight story reminded me that I should check MY flight ticket to San Francisco... gosh, hopefully I selected the correct London, but I remember a familiar Heathrow airport, so it should be fine. I hope your voice is getting better, so that you could talk to the doctors today and I hope they were helpful. Take care, la
Guest guest
, that's ok. I've been working flat out anyway and am annoyed that i'm not getting online as much these last few weeks. I've been looking in to see if everyone's ok though. The good news is that i was at a meeting in Edinburgh where my company's based and was talking to the director of the charity i work for, as you know my company is all about mental health and wellbeing, anyway at the meeting the boss said that he was always looking for new and improved ways to help people with any form of mental health problem and as all forms of dementia are classed as metal health i started thinking about drawing up plans and speaking to the board about the possibility of some sort of unit to encompass LBD patients, even on a respite basis. It'll take a lot of doing and funding would have to be found but it's not an impossibility, anyway any ideas as to how to approach this would be very welcome. .x Boo! Hi everybody. Thought I'd check in with you all, la, Sally said... " There are a number of UK members around. I live in Kent - and another guy here works in London too. " I think she means me. Hello! I assume you mean London, England. I only ask 'cos I was looking for flights from London to Vancouver last night and was doing really well until Trace (my missus) realised that I'd found London, Ontario, Canada. Oops. Easy mistake! Welcome, to all the new members. Sorry you had to find us. I hope you all find it useful. I have but it scared me so much to begin with. I had a lot of questions and found the real answers here. Stick with us. Post as often or as little as you like. , I've been thinking of trying to call you again. Sadly I've got this stinking cold that's rampaging through the UK at the moment. I can hardly speak. Telephones are a bit useless to me at the moment! Peggy, Hi, haven't heard from you for a while. Good to hear from you. Russ, Hi, haven't heard from you for a while either. Glad you are still around. And lastly, Looks like dad is loosing his marbles again. Arrgh. Bastard disease (Phrase courtesy of Sally Rodgers). Thought we'd got him stable too. Guess I'm going to spend tomorrow on the phone whispering at doctors who can't hear that I'm trying to say! Take care .... Welcome to LBDcaregivers. Guest guest
Hi , Just went back to read your email again. Er blimy! That's a scary idea. Great! Let's 'pop it in the bath and see if it floats'! Have to say I've a funding problem too. Amongst other things. I need reasonable proof of where at least ?1000 will come from to get the charities commission to look at our case. But, to be honest, there is a lot of work to do first. That reminds me... Hmmm.... Anyway.... Is there a good time to call? Would be good to talk. Re: Boo! , that's ok. I've been working flat out anyway and am annoyed that i'm not getting online as much these last few weeks. Guest guest
Hi , Good to hear from you, too. How's your Dad? Have the doctors had any luck getting him stable again? BTW, I like the sound of those new drugs y'all are concocting. Peggy > Hi everybody. ........... > Peggy, > Hi, haven't heard from you for a while.
