Guest guest
I have a question for those of you who take Remicade... They don't like to give you the Remicade when you are running a fever. I was sent home today and told to come back later this afternoon to see the doc. My question is, if it's common to have a fever with Still's, how in the world do we ever get the treatment? I have been doing poorly this week, fevers, rash, more joint pain than usual (even my toes are hurting!). But I had noticed that the last two times I got a Remicade treatment, they did not check my temp. So, knowing I had been running them this week, I told the nurse they had neglected to do that. It was only 99.4, but has been running higher in the afternoons. They hustled me out of there and told me to come see the doc this afternoon. Just wondering what everyone else's experience has been. I have been on Remicade for a year & a half and it really doesn't seem to be working for me anymore. I'll let you know what the doctor says.
