Senator Shapiro has shelved SB 1000 for this legislative session. Kudos to

Senator Shapiro for raising autism awareness (press conference, distributing

autism pins and copies of the Oprah show to name a few things in the Senate)

and of course for once again focusing our legislators' attention on autism

and education in Texas. Can't wait to see what she has planned for next

legislative session! Kim
