Guest guest
Sorry no - The Spectrum Center in Bethesda, MD recently opened an annex in New York City. Dewas trained by Tomatis and opened the annex with Louise Levy. We found the first round very helpful. After the first two week loop, our son was following directions in school and became totally toilet trained. After the second and third loop, we saw improvements in articulation. Our booster last summer was not as successful. I have seen many different responses from different kids - good and bad. Helene
Guest guest
Helene, Did your child get Tomatis at one of the Spectrum Centers in the Bay Area (CA)? Thanks! Heidi Starting protocol As we can't get into see Dr. G, we are working with a pediatrician, pediatric psychiatrist and nutritionist to mimic the protocol. My son was on antibiotics for lyme disease. We just stopped the zithromax and we are starting on acyclovir. Does anyone have any experience with this anti-viral (dosage, reactions to expect?) We are meeting at the end of January with a pediatric psychiatrist to discuss SSRIs. Not sure what he will recommend. Sounds like so many kids do better with Celexa or Paxil. Not sure what a typical dose is for a 5 year old that weighs over 60 pounds. Our son was on Diflucan until this past week and we are starting Biocidin which is a natural anti-fungal. He is already on the Dr. G diet and benefited SO much from dairy and sugar free. Since he was two, we have used the educational interventions and had a big bump up from listening therapies. We did both Tomatis at the Spectrum Center and do Samonas at home. Any other advice is most appreciated. It is so nice to read everyday, emails from parents in similar situations Sometimes we forget how many incredible parents there are out there. Guest guest
Helene, my almost 5year old son (70pound) has been a patient of Dr. G's for a year and a half. We are currently on Zoloft at 1 and 1/4 (50mg tablet) each am. Zoloft is the 3rd SSRI we have tried and we have seen the most impovements with. Guest guest
> > I am wondering if it is best to take the Core Protocol with food or without? Should it be taken apart from other herbs, etc.? take the core protocol WITH food. Only for catsclaw, it is better to take it about 30 minutes before the meal (if you take it with food the digestion might be less complete, so maybe not all of the herb is used).
