André, panículo adiposo refers to a fat layer, not just abdominal fat.

Commonly it is subcutaneous fat, but when fat forms a palpable layer around

organs, the term is also used

André, " pannicule " means " petit panneau " ('little pannel " ), is of the

masculine gender, not of the feminine one, thus it is " le " pannicule, and

is located into the hypoderma (hypoderme), i.e. the layer underlying the

deep dermis (derme), and made of adipous (fat) cells. Barabara is right,

it's not only limited to the abdomen.

Pannicule est un nom masculin. C'est donc " le pannicule adipeux " .
