Nope. Trying to use the topic to make

one point of asking the more important questions. As in is it

relevant? and if so, when?

2. Okay, I am not

ANY kind of expert, but I suspect that of all of the health effects of mold..

for that reason, the ability to aceess the bloodstream, the effects of smaller

particles that go into the deepest part of the lungs are going to be more

dangerous than the effects of larger ones..

On a per mass basis, yes. But one has

to consider the relative difference in affect and the total mass basis.

Smaller particles would best be considered

having more opportunity on a per particle basis and more reactivity on a

size/surface area basis. This does necessarily mean more burden.

toxicity: the dose metric for poorly soluble dusts. HSE Research Report

3. Do

you believe that only spores have 'health effects' and that the rest of the

things in water damaged buildings - including fungal fragments, including

pulverized spore fragments, including bacteria, endotoxins, persistent

mycotoxins, VOCs, etc. don't?

No. But you’re missing a lot in

that list.

And you’re close to getting my other point

– there are a lot of other things to focus on.

Question on Fungal fragments

Tony, you are sort of trying to change the subject, IMO.

I think the point that the various people who have written about the fact that

a fairly substantial amount of the fungal load in damp buildings is carried on

fragments that are too small to be indentified as spores is that they also ARE

small enough to often go through filtration AND be respired into the deepest

parts of the lungs, where they have a greater proportional effect than larger

particles.

Okay, I am not ANY kind of expert, but I suspect that of all of the

bloodstream, the effects of smaller particles that go into the deepest part of

the lungs are going to be more dangerous than the effects of larger ones..

2. Where are the

articles on HEALTH Effects " of fungal fragments " ?

If there

" There has been a lot of work done recently " ?
