Guest guest
Hi. I would recommend organic chicken opposed to " Natural " . Chicken certified organic can only be certified if the grain that they are fed is certified organic which means no genetically engineered soy (as far as we know). I would also recommend finding a source of pastured organic chicken locally from a farmer, but if you can't, I would definitely recommend certified organic in the grocery store. Natural is a step better than confinement, for sure, but there is no guidelines for " natural " meat, so you really don't know what it means. And the term " free range " as well is pretty vague. Free-range could simply mean that they are not caged, which is better, but they could also by " free ranging " on a concrete, manure ridden floor of a building without any access to the outdoors. Just some thoughts.... " A nation is no healthier than its children nor more prosperous than its farmers.
