Guest guest
I try. I'd like to think I can dish out a quick meal but often u find yourself in the kitchen rather than with your guests.... I try to circumvent that by getting up early to finish cooking by the time people get up but then land up tired the rest of the day. Pretty much like what your mum used to do in the hostel, Malini. I still remember Pratim coming back late after a hard day's work, and the mess had closed, and aunty had made some delicious stuff - and we actually scraped out the kadhaai to finish every little bit that she had made ! On each occasion aunty and Amita got together a different meal ( no left overs )- with apparent ease. Admirable. Dear Malini, Nutan's Dad was at her place. Her mother had gone on a pilgrimage tour, so she wasn't there. Her Dad was remembering you, and the time you and Archana had gone to look up Aunty when she had gone to Uk. He particularly remembered Naren, and was most amused by the way Naren had been trying to teach Devu's son to crawl ! Pratima also had dropped in for the weekend, so we had a grand reunion ! Nutan's daughters - Dipti and Neha - are absolutely adorable. Dipti is in class 12 and Nidhi in class 6. Take care, Prabha'84 l prasad <lakora@... <mailto:lakora%40talktalk.net> <mailto:lakora%40talktalk.net> > wrote: Porbi- say hi to nutan and her parents if u meet them.. VERY, VERY, SORRY, everybody !!! I'm in Mangalore right now, had a talk to give at our national conference, so had to prepare for that, have a couple of workshops to organise in Dec and Feb, so I was caught up with all the groundwork. i had checked mail, conveyed all your best wishes to Divya - she was mighty thrilled about the fact that all her uncles and aunties from the yahoogroup remembered her, and I was going to get back to Bhopal tmorrow and send personal thanks individually to everyone who had wished Divya on her birthday - but i got a reprimand from you all before I reached - hence this mail in a hurry. Please do accept my apologies for the delayed acknowledgement - I had felt so happy when you all remembered Divya's birthday and wished her - I will still get back and reply in detail. BTW - I'm staying with Nutan ('83) in Mangalore and she sends a big Hi!! and best wishes to everybody on the group.
