Guest guest
> > Hello everyone, > I have a 16 year old daughter who is currently undergoing the work-up for OCD. I have noticed the social isolation for the past 4 years but thought it was simply part of 'growing up.' It has become such as issue now and when she is approached, she becomes quite angry. She is up late at night and it is a constant battle in the mornings. > > When I finally got her to talk, she told me counts things and have a hard time sleeping because she cannot turn her mind off. We met with a therapist last week and she wants us to meet with the psychiatrist since she thinks it is OCD. > > My daughter's behavior is quite disruptive for the family when she actually ventures out of her room. I am wits end trying to reason with her and not get into a verbal battle or a crying meltdown. I came to understand she also attempted to cut her wrist when I threatened to remove her room door in an effort to get her out of her room. > > Does anyone have suggestions? >
Guest guest
Just finished my first week of Full-filled. Wanted to say hello. I have struggled with weight since age 1. I say this because I was a very chubby baby. Everyone seemed to think it was cute but I can remember at a very young age crying after being teased about my " rolls " on my thighs and back. I was just an infant and to be honest now I can look at them and think cute, but at age five I felt horrible. Just yesterday I was sorting out old photographs when I was at a lower weight. I realized that no matter how I looked I always felt fat. I am ready to stop beating myself up and hiding behind my weight. I am ready to feel good about being me. Thanks
