Guest guest
Hi : You said: The cynical part of me thinks " ignorance is bliss. " See that's it, we're all just too smart! Maybe if we were all blissfully ignorant, the BPD's in our lives wouldn't have been able to inflict such pain and aggrivation! Barb: My feelings on the subject is that we WISH we were blissfully ignorant, that's for sure!! That's why so many KO's are alcoholics and drug addicts, etc.!! Last night I wanted to have a drink SO BAD (I'm in AA)!! You just want to numb the pain -- with stupidity, or ignorance, or an artificual substance!! I hope that my new exercise program with help me deal with the pain in a HEALTHY way by releasing " happiness " endorphins!! Also -- I just read in a 12 step programs for couples that exercise is important to you MARRIAGE!! YES!! Me and hubby have just joined the YMCA -- so.... it looks like we're on the right track!! Bliss is the wrong way to go!! (And impossible too!!) No matter how much bliss you have, the pain penetrates through!! Learning the " deal " with the BPD's mental illness in a healthy way is the only way. I know you know...! Just putting in my 2 cents!!
