Guest guest
Hi : I think about the mind changing thing: Nada don't have " filters " to put on thoughts -- or a different way to describe it is that they don't have boundaries!! So... each person has multiple opinions in their minds, and feelings. That's normal. But each person doesn't blurt out to friends and families ALL their opinions -- or opposite opinions. They also don't say hurtful things. Nadas do!! It's as simple as that!! And as mind wrenching as that!! ARGH! If I was a therapist, I wouldn't take a BPD as a client either!! No, not me!! Barb > > Hi All, > I was trying to decide whether my N comes in and out of reality, or what, but I am beginning to think she changes by simply disagreeing with me: > Example: First, some of you know about me having to put my dog to sleep (Sabe) my German Shepherd kid of 12 1/2 years in June. Anyway a year ago or so my N called and she asked what I was doing, I had just walked in the door and was cleaning up dog poop (everyday for 2 years), and I said: Oh just cleaning up dog poop as usual. She says: I don't know why you don't put that dog to sleep, why do you want to keep cleaning up that mess. My reply was he wasn't hurting, it hurt me more to have to clean up after him and I just didn't have the heart to do so. > Well, when his health got much worse, and I was talking to her in April, I said, well, I guess I am going to have to put poor Sabe to sleep, he has gotten so bad now, but I just hate it. > Her reply: Why would you put the dog to sleep just because he is old, that isn't right, we don't put things to sleep just because they are old. > So....hell, no matter what I say or do, it is never right!! Now I don't know what her deal is, she is always changing, always !!! What is up with that?
