[Judith] Outlook 2000 (and probably the newer versions) will do just

that, add your

name to the paragraphs you type in response to an email.

[DMW] Hi Judith. Our Heidi is a programmer. Besides, many of us

avoid MS like the plague as they produce THE most untested hackable

software products on the planet.

Tell me about it. I have Linux all ready to put on my spare computer as

soon as I can get a moment to breathe.

I'm a slave to M$ because I have to be compatible with people I work with.

If it weren't for that I'd have been Linux long ago.

Nothing against a MAC. But I can put Linux on the hardware I already own.

Don't have the money to buy all new.

Enjoy! ;-)

[HJ] Yeah, I agree with you both. I refuse to use Outlook, too many

virus issues. Ditto for Word ... I will not send Word documents

as attachments! If someone gets a virus, it isn't from me! But I do

have software that could be made into an email client, and I've

been threatening to, because then I could keep the emails in a real

searchable database. (Eudora does pretty well, but ... )

Mozilla (firefox & thunderbird)is a free & easy alternative to MS

clients. have pretty cool search features too. they'll even

automagically import your settings from IE & outlook-x on set-up...

If you are going to spend your time creating something really cool and

useful ... I vote for the cookbook first.

Anyone else with me? :)
