Even though it takes longer, it tastes so much better. I mainly use the microwave to reheat tea or coffee, that's about it. Magda

It's really just as easy, and you don't have a disgusting microwave to clean up every six months. I used to reheat my tea in there, too, but half the time I forgot about it, and it would get nuked five times before I'd remember to get it out and drink it. I actually had found a " simmer ring " at Cost Plus years ago, and I have found it to be much better than the microwave. Something strange about microwaves....the food doesn't taste the same anymore. some say that it changes the molecular structure of the substance put into it so that your body no longer recognizes it. I always " feel funny " around a microwave when it is running, and we noticed that our poop changed when we stopped eating microwave food. Icky, but true. We are much happier without the microwave...we gave away the first one 6 years ago...somehow we keep getting them as Christmas presents...the grandparents just can't believe that we can get along without one! LOL So we donate microwaves every time they come our way! Catz
Guest guest
[Catz] somehow we keep getting them as Christmas presents...the grandparents just can't believe that we can get along without one! LOL So we donate microwaves every time they come our way! [Deanna] Exactly! I have a brand new boxed one in the garage! I feel unethical about giving it away. It's like: Oh here, have some nasty machine, lol. I think I'll sell it for $5 at our next garage sale. That way, I know the guy getting it wants it. And cheers to microwave-free living! Dee PS. Is it safe to send you books now, or are you moving shortly? Expect something early next week, in any case, and it will contain fresh homegrown organic rosemary, unless you are allergic. I know I should write off list, but I am lazy and MR. PC has been crashing. Must have too much cat hair in the box, hee hee.
Guest guest
Somehow, we always meet somebody who desperately wants a microwave, and can't afford it, every time we get one!
