The last time I heard of someone getting mono, it was someone who was

living (so I was told) on Snickers bars and Dr. Pepper and not

getting enough rest.

So I think getting plenty of rest and avoiding sugar and eating

nutrient-dense foods would help the most.

We had an epidemic of mono. when I was in high school. Most of the school had

it. It's definitely quite contagious, so you don't just get it because you're

not eating right. But, that said, beefing up the immune system with good diet

and rest will certainly help protect against any disease.

Eat well and get plenty of rest. I suppose you could try taking some

immune support herbs and the like, but basically, getting maximum nutrition

and great rest are probably the most important factors by far.
