Guest guest
The last time I heard of someone getting mono, it was someone who was living (so I was told) on Snickers bars and Dr. Pepper and not getting enough rest. So I think getting plenty of rest and avoiding sugar and eating nutrient-dense foods would help the most. --- In , Lynn Siprelle <lynn@s...> wrote: > A close friend has come down with mono and we've all been exposed. Guest guest
Take oil of oregano, about four hundred milligrams a day, divided into two doses, morning and night, for about four days.

It's definitely quite contagious, so you don't just get it because you're not eating right. But, that said, beefing up the immune system with good diet and rest will certainly help protect against any disease. Carol

I suppose you could try taking some immune support herbs and the like, but basically, getting maximum nutrition and great rest are probably the most important factors by far. -
