OT: BioSET or NAET as allergy treatments

Has anyone here tried either of these modalities? I've heard some rave

testimonials about both. Several people on some of my pet health lists have

posted that their animals are completely cured of allergies (food and/or

environmental) as a result of NAET, and one as a result of BioSET. I've read

that NAET (I believe) is even used for the treatment of Autism.

As I understand it, both " reprogram " the body to no longer see an antigen as

an antigen. IOW, the antigen no longer set off an immune reaction once the

body's reprogrammed via accupuncture, accupressure and other alternative

modalities.

NAET: http://www.naet.com/

BioSET: http://www.bioset-institute.com/

I'm thinking about using one of these modalities with my min pin Mokie, but

was hoping to get some more personal anecdotes before deciding which one.

Hi Suze,

My son was getting hives of unknown origin. I tried Bioset and within a few

weeks they were gone. He was getting them almost daily for about a year and

had to use antihistimines to stop the cycle almost daily. It was horrible for

him. It really worked incredibly.

I chose bioset over NAET, because with NAET the person has to stay away from the

object or food he is allergic to for over 24 hrs. With Bioset, the person

doesn't have to stay away from the allergic substance. Much, Much easier with

bioset! For example, if the person, or dog in your case is allergic to

something in your carpet, what are you going to do??? So, I would choose

Bioset.

Hey, that is a really good point that I didn't think of Jafa. THanks! Did

you do BioSET over the phone or in person? The only BioSET practitioner I

know of at the moment who works with animals, does phone consults. I will

look around to see if there's anyone one local though.

Suze,

In person. The person has to hold the vials of the substance he/she is allergic

too. I don't know if the results would be as good with surrogate testing over

the phone. That's getting into the energy realm in a large way. Some think it

is hocky. It's up to you.

Hi Suze,

I tried something similar to NAET called something like " natural

healing " which helped me get rid of dairy allergies. I can even

tolerate some forms of wheat now, too.

Blessings,

Hi Jafa,

Basically, it involves having the practitioner use kinesiology to test

for a weakness to a certain food, substance, etc., using a vile

representing that substance placed in the other hand of the client.

The practitioner then taps some areas on the client's body which

clears the person for that substance.

It took me a couple of sessions to release my dairy allergy.

Here is a link to their work: http://www.nhseminars.com/

Very interesting stuff.
