Hi Kristi! :-) Welcome!

Are you sure you can tolerate goat's milk?

Hi all! I'm new but have been lurking for a few days, I've gotten

so much information from you all.

I found a local source for raw goat milk, and I'm wondering if I can

freeze it? I want to buy a bunch at once, as they will be out soon

until March......Does the milk freeze/thaw okay?

Thanks,

Kristi

Hi :) I've been able to in the past :) It's more for the kids than

me, I'm not a milk drinker...just something to add to their hot and

cold cereal, and to make occasional sauces and such.

Sally says freezing raw milk is fine IIRC.

Welcome Kristi. I have frozen raw goat milk. It is difficult for me to

find a regular, local source here in TX. I make kefir and do what I can

on getting good raw milk as much as possible. I was told that freezing

it is fine, but that the taste may be altered slightly. I don't know

yet, as it is frozen still. I would think thawing the the refrigerator

and giving it a good shake now and again would be sufficient.

Best wishes,

Deanna
