Guest guest
Hi , I had exactly the same problem with my Advent 6422 (Dixon UK own brand) and have had great success using a budget home hi-fi amp (20+20watt stereo), which was a redundant present for one of my kids. In my case this gives sufficient output to fire up the Thunderball plasma globe that I am using with Ken's excellent FREX program. I appear to have sufficient power output from the globe to use it in a 'non touching' mode, thus avoiding the discomfort (and possible malfunction) of the globe heating up when you touch it.
