Guest guest Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 No Dani, not everyone has to stay away from breads and such. I have had no problems with them. I am almost a year and a half out, and down 115 pds, and I eat pretty much what I want. I try of course to steer clear of just plain old junk food, and try to go for the protein first. That is the thing that DS'ers need to get plenty of. I have not really had any problems. I love the surgery. Dr. K. will tell you straight up what he can do for you and how he sees your problem. You have been through so much, like so RNY'ers. My next door neighbor has the gastric bypass, and that made me know even more that I would not go that route. I wish Dr. K could have been your first doctor. God Bless, Pearl Quote
