My van developed head gasket issues just recently , which is a super expensive and necessary repair we have to do. We are just nursing it along right now - but it needs to be done. ( Estimates for this work are $800.00 on up to $ 1,000.00 !)It is my son's sole transportation everywhere except by school bus. What I was wondering is can his SSI payments be used for this work to be done ? He was just recently approved .Due to long tem unemployment our savings are depleated.
