Guest guest
hi jo - 1. if it's not organic, don't bother. if there's pesticides, your liver will have to filter them out, which defeats the purpose. 2. i just measured - 5 grams will make you a good 1-2 liters of tea - so two day's worth of tea. neither of these roots should be terribly costly...if they are near you, lemme know and we'll find another place. -katja At 02:40 PM 9/22/2004, you wrote: >I have read a bit on here lately about using dandelion and burdock >roots for a gentle liver cleanse. You mention in a previous post to put 1tbsp herbs in the water - is that 1tbsp of each or in total? I know, stupid quesitons, but I've never made my own herbal remedies before! The site I will buy ffrom is: www.sacredearth.org.uk They say they are mostly organic, but they don't state which are organic and which aren't. I won't bother with the liquorice, as it seems to raise my blood pressure. However, if the sarsparilla makes it taste good, then I will just try that too. Thanks for your help JO

Guest guest
How long do you stay on this dandelion/burdock liver cleanse? And someone said they do it twice a year - again, for how long each time? TIA! Steph :-)

Steph :-) do it for at least a month and see how you feel. if you're bad off, you could need three months. however, there's absolutely no problem with doing it every day for ever...these roots are supportive. they will continue to help you throughout your life -katja
