If I eat something sugary (or high GI-carbohydrates like white bread, or fruit) I'll feel weak, dizzy and nauseous, especially on an empty stomach. this is because my body produces too much insulin to soak up the sugar - sending me into a blood-sugar dive (hypoglycemic). It's not dangerous (or at least mine isn't) but it does make me feel awful. And when it first started, I felt nauseous all the time because I didn't realise I was triggering it continuously. Id have some plain crackers to try to settle the nausea, and it would just set it off again! Over the years I've learnt by trial and error what works and what doesn't - if I want sweets or chocolate, I have them after I've eaten something my system absorbs more slowly, like cheese, or a solid meal. Nerida, before I got it under control I used to have what you're describing - nauseous most of the time, but never when I'm actually eating!
