Guest guest Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Hello Everyone, My name is C., or Mrs. C as some people now like to call me. I am a stay-at-home wife, home-schooling mother of three, and a free-lance paralegal...just to name a few things we all do.... I subscribed to the list under: epclarke@.... I was introduced to "Raw" milk by a friend of mine who is on this list... G. Here, we are known as the 2 s, which I enjoy. Our family moved to Woodstock, in Cherokee County, Georgia, a little over 5 years ago. I have Fibromyalgea, and at one point, I was not able to do more than one chore around my home without feeling like I was going to fall apart...or just wish I would die. I tried EVERYTHING on the market...and a few things that are not. So, when this "loon...way over the moon loon" introduced me to "Raw Pet Milk" Oh, by the way, for those of you who do not know.....it is ILLEGAL to sell Raw Milk...Cow or otherwise..for Human Consumption. It IS, however, legal to sell Raw milk for your pet. Anyway, after going back and forth with it......I decided to jump off the cliff and purchase some "pet" milk. I know...CRAZY!! (I do have two dogs ya know.... ). Since that day several months ago, I can count on one hand how many migraines I have had, rather than the one or two days a year when I did NOT have a migraine. Not to mention that 95% of my other pain was suddenly gone! Thanks to my new partner in health....I now realize that "I" was the loon! Funny how we become brainwashed so quickly. After speaking to one of my cousins, I remembered that my grandmother had a cow, and we drank that milk for years...and gee..I didn't die..go figure! I now have more energy than I did even 20 years ago! I have more energy than I know what to do with sometimes. Now, 'we' go through a gallon a day. I make my own butter, which people are asking to purchase from us, and I will be learning how to make our own chesses yogurt...etc. We are now running a pet-milk co-op. Well, we are actually just the drop site for a farm. But, we will also be offering pet-butter, and eventually pet-cheese. (After all, we do have to take care of our animals.) Anyway, I just thought I would say HELLO!!!!! to all you crazy fellow Raw Milk Lovers...who have decided to take your lives and health into your own hands. Feels a bit like going off into that great unknown the trekkies call space. Come to think of it, I have recently been told I am just as weird....um....because I now only eat organic meats, veggies and dairy.....ewwww!.. HAHAHA! I hope to learn more about RawDairy, and will have many questions. I would also like to know what is going on around the country...in other states. Thanks, C. Quote
