Guest guest Posted July 21, 2006 Report Posted July 21, 2006 Does anyone have extra grains? I accidentally fed mine to the chickens when the milk separated and I am bumming out! Please email me off list--Thanks. Dona-WI Life is too short to eat grocery store cheese.http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/naturaldairyanimalshttp://groups.yahoo.com/group/JeffCoWI-freecycle Quote

Guest guest Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 Just put a wee bit of milk with the grains in a plastic freezer bag and pop them in the freezer. Supposedly they remain viable for 6 months at least. Check Dom's kefir site for actual viability. Rose Quote
