Guest guest
Thanks for the info. The farm we get it from is like yours jersey cows on grass and is an excellent clean farm and a Grade A dairy. There milk is awesome. shelf life of raw milk Raw milk should still be good to drink for 3+weeks. If the milk is not allowed to sit out but for brief periods of time, is keep 32-38 degrees, the milk is chilled as quickly as possible after milking, the cow is healthy and on good pasture/hay you should not have a problem with the milk not tasting good after 1 week. We took 8 gallons to the processor who does our grassfed beef and he called 5 weeks after we had given this family the mikkand he said the 8th gallon tasted as good as the first. Our milk is tested by DHEC and also the milk company several times a month and got an excellent report yesterday from the last sample taken.
