Re: OT-Do you Buy Clothing with Fur?

I agree with you totally on this one... It is wrong to make ANY creature suffer..wether it be dog, human, or goats etc..food animals are being butchered alive every day in our society. chickens, pigs and beef cattle, and cows in big factory dairys, somtimes are trampled on and killed while lying down giving birth..There are horror stories in every nook and cranny of our world... I prefer cotton fabrics, and good ol jeans..LOL I do my own, to boycott this horror, I only eat meat I raise here, but at least I know, they were put down, quick and with as little stress as possible...I truly feel this way and I teach my children this too..everything you do, wether it is good or bad, comes back to you x 3..so make sure you suffer others ..as little as can be !!

The ones I heard about were dogs in the orient and korea that were being served for specifically human consumption. I just thought that the torturers you mentioned probably would be using the meat also since they were using the skins since it was also in the orient. I can't even fathom why they wouldn't at least take 3 seconds to slit the throat or something. That made me think that they were doing the same thing I heard about. :( Shery

I have been told they kill the dogs in a most painful manner because it gives the meat a better flavor or something to do with that. Someday whomever does something like this will pay - BIG time! :(

You are talking about different countries. This is specifically in China at this time.

When I hear about people abusing dogs (or any animals, but specifically

dogs), I think about something that came out of my daughter's mouth when she

was learning to read/spell. She noticed that dog spelled backward is God.

She thought a long time about that and I told her that maybe that's why the

dog's always look after and protect us. Seemed right at the time.... seems

right at this time. From the time man stood upright there has been a

special bond between man and dog.
