Guest guest
can anyone help me with this bit of a mystery? we've been hearing quite a lot lately about a one-day " mold certification " offered by Pro-Lab, primarily to home inspectors. see: http://www.reliablelab.com/training/ it appears that one Doug Caprio is traveling around the country, offering to certify just about anyone, regardless of their technical background -- or lack thereof. and the cost of this certification can't be beat: it's free! <hhmmmmm....> who is this Caprio, and what qualifies him to teach anybody anything? I can find no bio, list of credentials, and certainly no CV on their site. I realize this is a thinly veiled marketing effort on the part of his employer. and they're certainly the low price leader for spore trap analyses. but, I've always been taught that (generally speaking) you STILL get what you pay for. anybody? off-list replies to iaq<at>michaelsengineering<dot>com are welcome.
