no doctor / psychiatrist / specialist has been able to answer this question, as

it's all

speculation to them.

- can the PSSD brain recover while taking l-tryptophan?

- can the PSSD brain recover while taking st. john's wort?

the concensus here on SSRIsex is that the only way to get better is to cease

trouble causing

medication. the problem of course is that then, our collective depressions go

untreated.

- is there any way to treat depression while allowing our PSSD brains to

recover?

thank you!!!

I'm sure that L-tryptophan will do no harm. It naturally occurs in

food anyway.

I'm sceptical of the St. 's Wort.

" St. 's wort may cause increased sensitivity to sunlight. Other

side effects can include anxiety, dry mouth, dizziness,

gastrointestinal symptoms, fatigue, headache, or sexual dysfunction. "

I suggest you replace the St. 's Wart with SAM-E.

I've used it with good results as a mood enhancer.

And it has some pain relief effect. It won't cause problems like the

St. 's Wart.

The best supplement to get the brain to recover is Lion's Mane mushroom.
