Guest guest
Velma, I'm so sorry lady. It broke my heart to read you note. What state are you in, I'll do my best to find some organizations that might be able to help you through this. <hugs> K. www.banjosetupspecialist.com
Guest guest
Velma, Contact the hospital and ask them about staying at the Mc house while she is at the hospital if you need a room and food. You will need to get to Patient Admin early the morning you check in to find out if they have any rooms available. It is free but sometimes its full..........so get there early. They also provide a free dinner every day. We stayed there while Trevor was in the hospital for those 80 days. Also I know of a girl that got free food coupons while she was there. Not sure where she got them from. I think she told the patient admin people and they gave them to her. She was able to give me a few when she left. Somehow you will find the strength to get through this. I didn't think I could but I did. Tori and you will be in my prayers. Take care, Donna (mom to Trevor, 9 yrs old PMG and BPNH)
Guest guest
This is also what I did with Trevor. My husband had to work and keep care of my other son. We were at a hospital 2 hours away. I stayed with him throughout the week while my husband would come and visit on the weekends. The nurses were very kind to me. I packed lots of non perishable food because I didn't want to leave him by himself. I hope she will be able to have a private room. We did when he was in PICU and that wasn't so bad but it was the pits when we had to go back to the floor to a room with a roommate. Take care, Donna
