Guest guest Posted October 26, 2004 Report Share Posted October 26, 2004 Christie, I am not myself familiar with this, but a mother on the WDS list tried it on her son and was not happy with it as it affected other areas in his mouth besides the salivary glands, if you know what I mean. I can find her exact message if you like, but it also affected chewing, swallowing and what speech he did have. They were not happy when it was first done. Someone I know got a quote and it was something like $700. Not bad if it is a problem. I would like to get my lips done too, my sister has beautiful lips - hers are natural and we used to tease her as a child and now I am the one with the thin slits wishing I had some of her lip.
