Guest guest
Whoever gets in touch with the doctor first to get the herbal mixture, please post it here. If someone with a scientific background and/or background in Mandarin could contact that doctor so we can make sure that we get the exact formula. Also, we need to know if the herbal formula would change depending on the person's weight etc., depending on the specific type of SSRI or other psychiatric drugs they took, etc. etc. > > Do not ring the surgery guys, it would get too much for him poor > doctor. Guest guest
Im guessing the formula this guy is prescribing is not unique. If we figured out the chinese name of the formula and the ingredients im sure we could get a local chinese herbalist to make it up or order it from an online dispensary. Guest guest
Hi Mo, Great recovery. Do you plan on continuing treatment from him a little longer. Maybe it would continue to smooth everything out.
Guest guest
2 things. Firstly, will people not email me please. I have so many emails! Secondly, I got a call from the doctor telling me to get people to use the email only tcm.renji@.... Already his one assistant has been so overwhelemed with calls no time, too much! They are so surprised at what has happened so quick and that many phone calls! They never realised it was gonna be this big. Giving the phone number was i suppose the wrong move, i think he forgot, this is the net, viewed by thousands upon thousands. Magic of the net! This now is the procedure. He will post out herbs. You email the following. tcm.renji@... Give your name and FULL postal address. He will NOT see anyone first, he will simply give out a standard 2 month course. If, after doing the 2 month course, for some reason you need to see the doctor then you make an appointment by emailing him. With this level of demand, he cannot see everyone that wants to be seen, nor speak to everyone. So only email now please. He is certain the herbs will sort everybody out anyway but will see people by appointment if people have not responded. Thank You
Guest guest
Alan, They got so overwhelmed within hours that they want everyone to go via email now. tcm.renji@... He had about 20 people set up for ringing Monday morning for an appointment and then it got ridiculous!!. So, he is not gonna see anyone yet cos he can't cope with it all BUT you will still get the herbs and then he will take it from there. Sorry. Email tcm.renji@... explain situation briefly. Guest guest
I’m just curious how much the 2 month course costs. Obviously, this is something I’m willing to spend money on to fix, but, I would be interested to know in advance, as with this economy, I’d like to see how it will impact my budget and work around it. Any indication of the cost? How much did it cost you Mo? From: SSRIsex [mailto:SSRIsex ] On Behalf Of mo_attif Sent: Saturday, January 03, 2009 8:58 PM To: SSRIsex Subject: Re: How i recovered. Guest guest
thanks Zant.this is a very important question.Mo please tell us what other lasting side effects did you have from ssri's and did all those improve as well. and what I'm personally interested is did you have blunted emotions?or any cognitive functioning problems as a result of ssri's and did they improve? Mo please give us all the details of your story. it might be important even beyond PSSD. and Vornan, please do call the doctor on behalf of all of us, get as much information as possible, and then post it here. I do understand its pointless all of us to call and make he doctor mad. But also I think you should call! I'm looking forward to see where all this will take us.. God have mercy..don't make me shoot myself like did! Subject: Re: How i recovered. Guest guest
Bioroid, cost me for 2 months usage - £125, so works out about £60 for 4 weeks. You won't need more than 2 months. I dont know what he will charge you guys and what his prices are now. I imagine they would be the same cos he is a genuine, ethical guy and does not seem the type to hike prices in the face of demand, he is in the business of helping people as well as earning his living. To him its a balance. One of the rare guys i met that wanted to make a difference to people affected by western drugs and diseases. He is making a good living anyway is very very busy just through word of mouth. email him tcm.renji@... give him your details if you want to buy and he will tell you how much it is and how to pay. Guest guest
He did say he has the herbs to sort out depression in TCM and undo anti depressant related effects on mind, but the libido was helped by this one he gave. I have taken the other antidepressant TCM herbs and they work. What works best though is resolving issues, Inner conflicts, Cognitive Behavioural Theraphy and herbs combined, roots out depression and anxiety. The anti-depressant herbs calm you down, cut out circular arguments, make you content and peaceful. The libido one he said needs to be ideally combined but i took only the libido one first. Then i did the whole lot. look, email and tell him what you want and he will post out in first instance, then if problems persist he will arrange to see you, he cant be doing appointments with everyone. He claims that for these symptoms, its the same herbs. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > From: mo_attif <mo_attif@> > > > > > > > > > > > > > Subject: How i recovered. Guest guest
same symptoms, its the same herbs. Everyone has the same imbalance if done by the SAME means (through SSRI use etc). He cant see everybody, too many, cant cope, and it is not convenient for everybody to come see doctor. The convenient way is first step try herbs, if still not resolved then see doctor. Look, just email and take it from there but keep it brief. > > I'm just curious what makes the doctor certain that his pills will cure everyone? Would 'one size fit all' really? Guest guest
i did his antidepressant herbs as well as this libido / PSSD tablets. They worked, along with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, in curing my depression without any side effects. Infact they increased my libido and sexual abilities.....because i was relaxed and content. Overcoming inner conflicts and building ability to cope is the key to preventing a relapse. The herbs will balance your mind and able you to feel normal without side effects. When you are faced with a huge huge loss, you get sad, your appetite goes, you dont sleep....this is imbalance due to stress. Same like depression. The herbs relax you, make you feel normal and it is a normal feeling you get as your brain gets recaliberated. BUT, if you keep on the thoughts and actions that caused the imbalance you will relapse. So, CBT or building ability to cope, solving inner conflicts will prevent imbalances in future. > > Hi Mo, > > Great recovery. Do you plan on continuing treatment from him a little > longer. Maybe it would continue to smooth everything out. >
Guest guest
hopefully when someone receives a box of these pills, they can post what they are, because it might be possible for each of us to find a source locally, at a local chinese medical practitioner. It works out to about $300 CAD based on your price quote, which is gonna be tough to cover for me right now, so it might be possible to find someone locally that might be cheaper. Mo, did you complete the two month course? How long ago? Are you still feeling fine and doing well? I am worried that after the 2 month course that the effects might slowly wear off or the original imbalance return.
Guest guest
this seems like a new sexual revolution..lol..Mo tel your doctor if he cures PSSD he will be in the big book of history:) Subject: Re: How i recovered. I did it!!!To: SSRIsex Date: Sunday, January 4, 2009, 12:45 AM He did say he has the herbs to sort out depression in TCM and undo anti depressant related effects on mind, but the libido was helped by this one he gave. He claims that for these symptoms, its the same herbs.> > > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > > > From: mo_attif <mo_attif@>> > > > > > > > > > > > > Subject: How i recovered. Guest guest
To me this sounds a con, but suppose for people like us there is not much choice,I have heard about the yin yan stuff and about balencing them out and some of it does.  Certainly adaptogens do sound like a reasonable choice to make as they balance out the body but you can do yuor own research online to learn about them.  Personally I have had good results with ashwaganda and rodeola rosea.  That was to balance myself out then with maca to improve testosterone and hormon production, the ebenfits of maca is that it also contains tyroscine which is a dopamine precursor and of cours edopamine is one of the neurotransmitters for pleasure.  Excersise does help as well, I do not believe that there is a magic pill that can be taken to reverse the symptoms and time itself is a healer.http://www.paxilprogress.org/forums/showthread.php?t=32985Is a good thread that gave me hope and sort of explains dopamine downregulation. To: SSRIsex Sent: Sunday, 4 January, 2009 1:57:34Subject: Re: How i recovered. Guest guest
I agree chris jack.It does sound a bit too good to be true. There was a chinese doctor who had this site called actionlove which claimed to have the answer for PSSD and that turned out to be a scam. In any case we just have the one testimony. Hopefully others will be able to corroborate. SSRIs are powerful drugs and while I believe herbs are able to help a complete cure sounds too good to be true! In any case chinese medicine is unlikely to make things worse unlike some of the novel medications like antipsychotics, wellbutrin and the other shit people are taking and for a hundred or so it is worth a try. I like to think to myself that the Chinese population would not be a couple billion if their medicine didn't work, so if this stuff does help the PSSD I may well decide to see a Chinese doctor about my residual depression and insomnia
Guest guest
Guys there are plenty of legitimate TCM doctors across the country. Just google and find someone that is board certified, preferably with a specialty in reproductive health. I found one here in the RI area, he's world renowned, does presentations across the country, and creates his own herbal formulations. Let's not get carried away and assume we've found a quick fix - keep in mind we do not all share the exact same PSSD symptoms..each of us may need our own unique treatment. Though I do feel more hopeful than I did a few days ago.. Guest guest
Yes, and also someone else reported success with Requip? I am not certain of the spelling, I think it is a drug prescribed for Restless Leg Syndrome. I should know this as I had RLS until I had a Chiropractic adjustment to my C1 3 years ago and the RLS disappeared. Am I correct? Is this the drug that cured someone's PSSD ReQuip ? Guest guest
But you don't recall WHAT it was he gave you? Jing or Jin or something??? Guest guest
Just go here and search for one in your area. I'd be very surprised if the actionlove " doc " shows up here. http://www.nccaom.org/ Luther
Guest guest
Guys, we have a track. Congratulations Mo. If research will start on the subject of PSSD, your case could be a major lead for scientists with possibly global relevance. Would you please reveal some more information about your former SSRI-use and relevant time intervals? It seems to make sense that also PSSD patients in other countries seek help from a registered licensed TCM-practitioner. I hope that PSSD patients that email to dr. Lin will ask him one or more of the following questions and will accurately post his answers in this support group: How many patients are totally cured by dr. Lin from obvious PSSD? What was the exact and full name of the diagnosis that caused Mo's PSSD according to TCM? A Chinese name can be translated to English by a professional translator or bilingual TCM practitioner. What is the exact and full name of all the different diagnoses that may cause PSSD according to traditional chinese medicine? According to which exact branch/school of TCM was MO's PSSD sucessfully treated? What is the exact description of Mo's treatment? I mean the exact name and family of admitted herbs, daily dose, strength, and period of treatment. Which parts of the plants were used? Roots, stems, leafs, seeds or flowers? How were these herbs processed and admitted? What other factors are necessary for successful treatment of PSSD with TCM? In which exact sources of information can this TCM treatment for PSSD be found? I mean referrals to book titles with author, publisher and year, websites or articles in TCM-journals etc. I realise that dr. Lin may be not happy if all these questions are fired at him in these words in one email or visit. He might possibly feel interrogated and disrespected. I think these are important questions though, to keep in mind.
Guest guest
I have the same concern voiced by others in that our symptoms are a bit different and several people have found cures or help through different means. While a TCM doctor may have cured someone it does not mean that the same exact herb(s) is the miracle cure for all of us. I would be willing to try the combination used with success by " mo_attif " but with guarded optimism: I am very happy for him and hope I find the solution for my suffering. I am of the opinion that we must as a group be vocal and get the message out that there is a real phenomenon out there called PSSD. That article in the Boston Globe may be quickly forgotten by people that do not suffer and that is what big pharma would like. lightsoutluther wrote: > > > > Guys there are plenty of legitimate TCM doctors across the country. > Just google and find someone that is board certified, preferably with > a specialty in reproductive health. Guest guest
No, I haven't. I will call or email him some time this week. It would be great if this were a cure-all for PSSD, but as others have pointed out, just because this worked for Mo, doesn't mean it will work for everybody else. It could turn out to be something important, but we won't know until more people have tried it.
