that doesn't mean he's dead. he could be fine, just not posting to the group.

somebody should email him to see if he's ok. he may even have recovered for all

we know...

i don't know what happened to brianbeezly, last i heard he was

talking about living on the streets and seemed quite suicidal, but i

don't think we should jump to any conclusions just because we havent

heard from him. looking back at posts from as little as a couple of

years ago there seem to be many people who simply do not post

anymore. what has happened to all of them? some of them were in

desperate states. surely they can't have all just given up hope. some

of them must have recovered or seen improvements and this is the

reason that they have all but dissapeared. i hope that this is the

case, but it would be nice to know. i have tried e-mailing a couple

of them but got no response. this suggests to me that the e-mail

addresses are no longer in use. its one thing not posting anymore,

but another leaving the group completely. why would someone that

still has severe problems with pssd do such a thing when this group

is pretty much the only group of its kind and if anyone finds a

solution to this problem it is going to be discussed here. leaving

the group simply suggests that help is no longer needed. maybe i am

being too optimistic, a rarity these days believe me, but there are

just so many names that simply don't appear here anymore, not just a

handful of names, but loads. i cannot think of any other reason other

than things getting much better for them to stop them from posting on

the site. let's face it, even those that tell us about their

recoveries usually post a final couple of messages and then

dissapear - chris wells, dex, fritz, ben fleer to name but a few.

biologic occasionally posts an update and all credit to him, but i

really do think that many who recover or see dramatic improvements

that seriously affect the quality of their lives just want to put the

whole horrific experience behind them and that may include not

visiting this forum anymore. i am not saying that this is the

likelihood with brianbeezly but who knows? i sincerely hope that he

did not take his own life even though i know how he felt and am

suffering pretty much the same torment myself much of the time.

man guys there is still hope. I have every single symptom and I still got my head up. Just because my emotions are numb and I can't get laid does not mean I'm gonna chew on a bullett. If you want hope go to church find God and put your faith and trust in him instead of a chinese doctorSent via BlackBerry by AT&TFrom: "phon_71" Date: Tue, 06 Jan 2009 06:12:41 -0000To: <SSRIsex >Subject: Re: How i recovered. Not sure if everyone got the message from the Chinese doctor. Turns

out we need an appointment before he can deliver meds.

Now Im sure the formula he uses is replicated by other doctors. So it

would be a great service to the group if whoever was able to see him

was able to get the formula name.

Mo said something about Jin Ying but I could not find a formula with

that name.

This morning I received a response from the TCM guy Renji. He cannot send out the herbs.

You must first see the doctor. Apparently rules have tightened up in the UK. He suggests waiting to see how more of the people on this site who live in the UK and do who see the TCM doctor before planning a trip to the UK. He also mentioned trying a certified TCM doctor in the US who has success treating SSRI induced sexual imbalances. Also the herb

only 25 lbs.

ok guys,

i managed to speak with the doctor,

and he told me that for a 28 year old, i should not be having this problem.

he says it is more of a relaxation problem, and that i need to really destress

and take a holiday. also he said some stuff about (from what i decipher from the

thick accent) not having a 'peak sexual experience' (since ssris i presume) ...

and that if i have a few, i should be ok.

i asked the names of the herbs and here it goes :

sen yong bian wang & lu yong wang are for sexual dysfunction

jia wei xiao yao wan & zhu gang wang is for relaxation...

the names are in chinese and have a chinese pronounciation... but if you give it

to a tcm doctor he/she should know what they are (i hope!)

so his recommendation is for me to take this for a couple of months and see how

it goes.

cheers

Today I received an email from the Chinese traditional doctor in

the UK who helped Mo.

He said that he can not post any herbs due to UK restrictions,

and that only people in the UK can be treated by him.

However, I never asked him to post any herbs to me, I just

emailed asking him what herbs they were so that my local herbalist could give

me the same herbs. Hopefully, he’ll read my reply more thoroughly and be able

to identify the herbs.

He wanted to note though that the cost for 2 months is 25 UK

Pounds. Not 250! I think Mo made a typo. So, about 60 Canadian Dollars, or

50 US dollars. Of course, since he can’t post any to Canada or the US, that

doesn’t really matter. I will continue to investigate what the herbs are. HOPEFULLY

when someone n the UK gets the herbs, if the labels are in Chinese, they can

ask a Chinese friend to translate, or to take some photos and post them online,

and if the labels are in English or another European language, you can simply

tell us what the herbs are!

That way, we international PSSD sufferers can get to our local

herbalists and at least try this potential treatment avenue out.

Here’s to us!

No, I haven't. I will call or email him some time this week. It would be great if this were a cure-all for PSSD, but as others have pointed out, just because this worked for Mo, doesn't mean it will work for everybody else. It could turn out to be something important, but we won't know until more people have tried it.Vornan>> Vornan I'm curious if you talked to the chinese doctor?>

Yes, and also someone else reported success with Requip? I am not certain of the spelling, I think it is a drug prescribed for Restless Leg Syndrome. I should know this as I had RLS until I had a Chiropractic adjustment to my C1 3 years ago and the RLS disappeared.

Am I correct? Is this the drug that cured someone's PSSD ReQuip ?

He did say he has the herbs to sort out depression in TCM and undo anti depressant related effects on mind, but the libido was helped by this one he gave. I have taken the other antidepressant TCM herbs and they work. What works best though is resolving issues, Inner conflicts, Cognitive Behavioural Theraphy and herbs combined, roots out depression and anxiety. The anti-depressant herbs calm you down, cut out circular arguments, make you content and peaceful. The libido one he said needs to be ideally combined but i took only the libido one first. Then i did the whole lot. look, email and tell him what you want and he will post out in first instance, then if problems persist he will arrange to see you, he cant be doing appointments with everyone. He claims that for these symptoms, its the same herbs.> > > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > > > From: mo_attif <mo_attif@>> > > > > > > > > > > > > Subject: How i recovered. Are you sure you typed out the names of the herbs correctly? Also I

don't really get the relaxation bit? Did the Dr prescribe four herbs

for mo? Two for relaxation, two for sexual dysfunction?

I do not have a car so Huddersfield is a mission so it would be great

if someone could find out the info.

Guys and girls

It would be AWESOME if someone who speaks Chinese could take a look at

Brent's post and correct the spelling so that we can all google these

herbs and order them online.

Mo, Could you read what the packaging the herbs came in says and post

it for us, so some of us can track down this mystery herb? I'll fly

to the UK to see this doctor if necessary, but I'd really like to see

if something can be done for me in the USA.

Hey guys, I have this secret chinese herb that will cure a horribly

debilitating condition, but I will be as ambiguous as possible despite

the hundreds of people depending upon and anxiously waiting for a cure

that is apparently dependent on some magic herb. Despite the fact that

it should take about 10 seconds to find out what it is with some basic

research, i will continue to be vague and refer you to a broad

profession of chinese medicine that could prescribe you a million

different fucking things. These threads are always such bullshit, it

gets peoples hopes up and it's really sad that people do this. The

fact that the guys abandoned the thread when he's pressed for specific

information is enough proof in itself to prove what a hoax this is!

(from what i decipher from the thick accent) not having a 'peak sexual

experience' (since ssris i presume) ... and that if i have a few, i

should be ok.

the spelling is correct, it's just that you have to say it in a specific

intonation... for e.g the word 'shui' can be said in 4 different tones and

different tones mean different words

i dont think you can get this herbs online easily from one place in a small

dose, it's better to just get them from a tcm herb shop.

im going over to the tcm shop sometime soon. if they have stock, i might

consider getting stock for those of you who want to try but do not have access

to tcm medicine in your country.

I don't want to crush anyone's hopes and dreams, but I tried to fix my

pssd with Requip and it just made me extremely nauseous. I had to

quit it after a few weeks because I couldn't tolerate the nausea and I

got no results. All of us have different symptoms and our bodies are

all different, so it may work for some people, but Requip will

definitely not work for everyone.

I have been on wellbutrin for 8 days and it has done nothing except make it impossible to sleep. Ill give it 3 more weeks to make sure its had time to affect me as it should then report back. Requip has so many potential severe side effects it sacred me away. I read reviews on it and not one person recommended it. A few years ago PSSD was denied by docs now it is not. Progress is being made. I think we should contact a lawyer as a group to get things done quickly. No amount of money would make me happy only a cure, but we need to make noise. A lawyer wont’ take the case until there’s a study that

demonstrates the existence of PSSD. Right now there’s only anecdotal evidence

and a few published case histories. The best thing you can do right now to

help things move forward is go to your doctor and make him take a case history

for possible publication.

Most of the work on PSSD has been done by a PH.D., so not a

doctor. Any non medical research won’t matter too much in court, especially

when depression’s diagnostic criteria includes sexual dysfunction. Without

disentangling depression related sexual dysfunction from PSSD, there’ll be no

case.

My doctor has taken a case history and contacted a

psychopharmacologist in my city to discuss a possible study. But then there’s

grant applications, and post market trials to run. It’ll be a few years before

there’s enough hard evidence that a suit makes sense.

Hey all,

I had a word on the phone to Mo's doctor. I have to say I was not very

convinced. His theory seemed to be that it was all connected to

stress, trouble relaxing and poor sleep and said that I should see a

chinese doctor to try and address the stress issues and that should

help the PSSD. He did however provide a recommendation for someone

local to me.

Certainly I did not get the impression that there is a specific

formula he has that we could get hold of.

Does anyone else have any more information or had the chance to speak

to the doctor?
