Just bouncing something off the top of my head to see if it makes sense to

anyone else….

Permission to post. Little guy I've been seeing (I posted a few weeks ago about

him) with assymetrical & recessed jaw, colicy, reflux. Mom was on elimination

diet down to meat and potatoes before she called me. Now 8 weeks and doing

better. Still a bit cranky, but getting better. He has had some body work, but

not as much as I'd like. Working on getting that fixed. Both also doing

milk-free probiotics (both parents allergic to cow's milk) and that's helping as

well. He's starting to try latching onto the breast, where he wouldn't suck at

all before!

Anyway, I was talking to another person about how some foods cross-react with

latex allergy, when it hit me that *this* mom is allergic to latex. Is it

possible that mom could be reacting and even though mom feels she tolerates

potatoes well, and she is passing those inflammatory tidbits to baby and that's

why he's so cranky?

If so, goodness me, if this what happens on potatoes, and lots of common fruits

& veggies cross-react to latex, what CAN she eat other than meat? And isn't

coconut also on the no-no list? So I can't get coconut oil in there either if

this is indeed mom's latex allergy.

Am I thinking too far out in left field, or have I had an epiphany? *g*
