I have Breastmilk which is just a breastmilk amount calculator, its ok, nothing great And I have breastfeed 2 and I like it a lot, it has calculators and medications, freq asked questions, and you can figure the percent of weight loss, this is a good app in my opinion. It is made by the Mass Breastfeeding Coalition I got the Medela app just to see what it is and its nothing special for sure. Anyone else have any apps that they really like???? There is one app that is from Massachusetts BreastfeedingCoalition called Breastfeed then they have one you can pay for too.I noticed that Medela is suppose to have A new one but I have not had time to look it up.According to Medela you can keep up to 6 moms/baby Information on there, for tracking or something. I have not looked into it. http://www.medelabreastfeedingus.com/whats-new/128/medela-goes-mobileHere's the link.....As far as other apps yes they are really poor. Even the diaper tracker is poor. It could be so soMuch better. It could be done by day, then show Picture of poop and how it changes. Elaine Sent from my, selling Jon's plasma to pay for my iPhone, iPhone.

For droid, search Massachusets Breastfeeding Coalition in the market and Breastfeed2  will come up.

Love the idea of having icons for the videos!  I added one for Jane Morton's today.

OK so I just paid the $1.99 for the MA Breastfeeding

comfortable doing that - just sayin) and downloaded the AP or so I thought and

now can't find it on my phone. Did I miss a step?

In addition to Breastfeed2 that was mentioned, in my " breastfeeding " apps folder

I have a few other things. I downloaded West's book Making More Milk.

It's nice to have access to the whole thing and be able to highlight areas or

bookmark pages for reference.

There is also a way to go to a website (like LactMed and the Edinburgh scale)

and create an app link (by hitting the rectangle with the arrow coming out of

it) and choosing " add to home screen. " Voila, you have an app that leads you

directly to the web page which you use all the time.

I'd love to create an app if anyone has ideas. Throw them out here.

Cheers!

Hi Lou, if you really " just ordered " it, like you hit " buy " and then looked for it immediately, it can take a few seconds for it to load.  Pull down your notification menu and check that it's there.  If it is, then you have it for sure.  You just have to bring it to your " desktop " to make it easily accessible (put your finger on it, wait for it to vibrate, you know ...).

I bought the book through the the iTunes store. If you type in " making more

milk " , it should come in as an app, not a book. It shows up as an app icon in

the phone, not in the books part, but it works like an e-book. Make sure you're

looking at the app, not the podcast. You should also be able to tell by the

price of $17.99.

As for making a folder, I'm not sure if the iPhone 3's do this (I think they do

with the latest software update) if you hold the apps and make them jiggle, then

move one app on top of a related app, a folder will be created, so you can

organize your apps and they won't be all over the place. Then hit the home

button to stop the jiggling.

I'll be at the conference and would love to talk about techie stuff. email me if

you want to meet up. It IS fun!
