Guest guest
......for being there(in that bygone era), to witness the major events,in history, as, one of the few early batches of (glorious set) ophthalm PGs. " Been there and felt that(palpable tension, joy.) " U can always tell such horror stories to ur grandchildren, when u grow old and more wise.It will still be the all-time best seller. I was narrating this similar incident about the quietness(of the OT),the tension of my times, compared to a much relaxed atmosphere now etc,to some of my Egyptian,Syrian ophthalmologists, while sipping tea, before the OT,out here, some 5-6years ago and one of them jokingly remarked....Ductoor Kaamath, the only zing(thing),u dont do (read- did not do),is remove ur shirt and fling in the air like a o,after successful removal of cataractous lens...' " ,...which I thought, and loudly remarked, would have been an scene bordering on obscenity,to think of lean Narayanan,or the healthier ME,or a skinny u,waving our OT shirts infront of honourable girls like Prabhati,Aparna,Deepika etc.... Then, one bright Syrian remarked...WHO were zey(they)?.Cheerleaders for u????!!. I then, abruptly stopped the discussion,as it was getting more difficult to imagine such scenes in the OT.(Of our bygone era) Shyam(84).
