I don't know,how many of u all, in this group,do sit and watch this serial on

Star Plus ..BA..Bahu and Baby..,but we three,out here and many of my other

friends sit glued or watch it faithfully each time,by recording it on VHS.

I would rank it as one of the best serials in Hindi TV to date.Very close to my

heart.

Probably the fact that we stay so far from our family members,also may be the

additional point.

A serial, par excellence, dealing with issues of daily life,of love for our

family,of the happiness and the sadness, that goes with it.

The character of Ba (mother),shows her to be strong mentally,and we all

felt,we all should have a mother like her,who stands alone like a rock,and gives

judgement,which most of the times diffuse the crisis,that we all go through, of

staying in a joint family.

I often wondered,why this great stage actress,decided to grace the Hindi small

screen,after so many years of being in Gujarati circuit.Her charm and acting

style is very captivating.

And the best of all, it is a story of a loving gujju family,based in YES!!,apna

VILE PARLE EAST.

I haven't seen a serial, with so much of grace,so much of talent and so much of

fluidity in acting on small screen.
